Partial Road Closure in Philipsburg on September 10, 2024, for the Official Opening of Parliament

The public of St. Maarten is hereby advised of the following temporary road closures scheduled to take place in Philipsburg on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. These measures are being implemented by the Police Force of Sint Maarten (KPSM) in coordination with the Ministry of VROMI, in connection with the Official Opening of Parliament.

Road Closure Details:

Date: Tuesday, September 10, 2024

Time: 07:30 AM to 02:00 PM

Affected Roads:

Front Street: Closed from Smith-Steeg to Emmaplein.

Back Street: Closed from the intersection of Voogesstraat/Emmaplein to School-Steeg.

Motorists and other road users are encouraged to take note of these closures and plan their routes accordingly. Alternative routes should be utilized during the specified hours. Additionally, motorists are urged to remain vigilant and observant of the traffic diversions that will be in place.
