Notice to All Eligible Voters: Upcoming Parliamentary Elections

The Civil Registry Department invites all eligible voters to prepare for the upcoming Parliamentary elections on August 19, 2024. Please take note of the following important information:

Closure of Voting Registry:

• The voting registry will close on June 3, 2024.

Update Your Profile: Citizens are invited to update their profiles at the Civil Registry office on the following days:

• Dates: Wednesday, May 29, Thursday, May 30, and Friday, May 31, 2024, from 17:00 to 19:00 PM
• Dates: Saturday June 1, 2024 from 09:00 to 12:00 Noon
• Location: Government Building, Philipsburg

Updating your profile ensures that voting cards are distributed to the correct address.

Services Available:

• Update Address: Provide proof of address such as a GEBE bill or a lease agreement.
• Update Name or Marital Status: Bring relevant documents (birth certificate, marriage/divorce certificates).
• Inquire About Voting Status: Come in your valid ID card if you want to verify your status.
• Report a Deceased Family Member: Provide a death certificate if a family member passed away abroad to prevent receiving a voting card for the deceased.

Required Documents:

• All citizens must present a valid identification document.
• For address updates, provide a lease agreement, VROMI Declaration or GEBE bill.
• For profile updates involving breeder documents, bring the original documents along with any necessary legalization and translation.
