MHF: Upcoming Family Support Meeting
MHF Press release about Upcoming Family Support Meeting June 27th 5-6 pm
Do you have a friend or family member who is having a hard time or could need help? The support of the people close to you can make a huge difference!
Upcoming Saturday, June 27th, the MHF restarts its Family Support Meetings with an open online session through ZOOM.
How Are You Really?
We want to use this meeting to provide the opportunity for everyone to share how they felt (or still feel) during the pandemic and lockdown. How did you cope with the difficult situation that we all went through? Through story sharing, it becomes apparent that the feelings that we experience are normal and felt by everyone. This is a great way to get things of your chest, but also to inspire and strengthen each other!
We encourage people to write down a little something in advance. How you do it is up to you, it doesn't matter if it's short, long, a poem, or maybe even a picture. It's up to you!
Technicalities: The link will be shared in the Facebook Event linked to the MHF Facebook page (Mental Health Foundation St. Maarten) on Saturday. With that link, you can access the ZOOM meeting (the program works better if you install it on your phone or laptop).
On Thursday, June 25th, at 3 pm, we will do a test session to test if everyone knows how to work with the ZOOM program and explain how it works. That link will be shared on the MHF Facebook, too, on Thursday.
Sharing is caring!
