Chamber to Host Panel Discussion "Doing Business Beyond Borders - Florida"

Philipsburg: As part of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry (COCI) means of supporting and encouraging growth within the business community, COCI will be hosting a high-level business exchange with Florida-based professionals. The objective of "Doing Business Beyond Borders" is to bring awareness to the local business community, relevant knowledge, requirements, and opportunities to conduct business in external markets. This will be part of a series of events and initiatives the St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce & Industry would be embarking upon toward the growth and development of the local business community.

This event will be virtual and in-person, discussing their expertise and ability to support St. Maarten businesses seeking to do business in the US, particularly in Florida and vice versa. The visiting panel from Florida and local and foreign virtual participants tuning in will get an overview of what the requirements are when investing in St. Maarten, updates on our sectors for potential investment, and other relevant information on our economy.

The visiting professionals are representatives and members of the following institutions; André. L Williams, Esq - Real Estate Law Firm, Miami Gardens Chamber of Commerce, Canada Florida Chamber of Commerce, Lee County Economic Development - Southwest Florida, BNI Wynwood, and FIG Commercial.

This Virtual Event will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, going live from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and will be streamed via Zoom and The St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce & Industry Facebook page to reach a wide cross-section of our local business community. COCI encourages local and foreign businesses and business enthusiasts to participate in this virtual event.
