Medical community outreach started Tuesday

POND ISLAND -- The government announced that medical community outreach has started on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.
Medical and community personnel will visit Sucker Garden starting on the Tuesday for the start of a COVID-19 community outreach programme. The outreach programme seeks to determine the community spread of COVID-19.
The visit to Sucker Garden will serve as the yardstick for the rest of the community outreach programme.
The aim is to visit 100 household each day.
The Prime Minister on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, during her briefing to the Members of Parliament online mentioned that for the Sucker Garden area the number of persons in isolation was 37, those quarantined were 45 and 4 persons had tested positive.
