SINT MAARTEN POLICE FORCE AGAIN TAKES ACTION AGAINST ILLEGALLY PARKED VEHICLES IN THE PHILIPBURG AREA
In an ongoing effort to address the issue of vehicles illegally parked on Front Street and Emma Plein area, officers of the bike patrol took decisive action over the weekend.
During the operation, officers issued a total of 15 fines to individuals found to be in violation of parking regulations. Additionally, 4 vehicles were towed due to improper parking, causing inconvenience to others and obstructing the flow of traffic.
The bike patrol, a vital component of our policing strategy, remains vigilant in enforcing parking regulations to maintain order on our streets. We urge all drivers to be mindful of where they park their vehicles. Illegally parked vehicles not only face fines but may also be towed at the owner's expense.
These actions are part of our ongoing efforts to create a safer and more accessible environment for everyone in Sint Maarten. KPSM continue to enforce parking regulations rigorously, and further operations of this nature will be conducted in the future.
