Wine, Beer, and Fine Food Fair at Porto Cupecoy

September 6, 2022 2:36 pm

As part of the Fete de La Cuisine, the Food, Beer, and Fine Food Fair will take place on November 8, at Porto Cupecoy with the scenic Mullet Bay Lagoon as backdrop.

The Wine, Beer, Fine Food Fair consists of 2 segments, one for the professionals and the other for the public.

The first segment from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm is for the professionals, such as sommeliers, chefs, hotel and restaurant managers. This allows for networking within the industry and distributors will have their products available for tastings.

Food and wine pairings allow chefs and sommeliers to pair individual dishes with different wines in hopes of enhancing the flavor of both the food and the beverage. Food and wine pairings leave plenty of creative space to use to impress customers.

During the Food and Wine pairings, the visiting chefs will create a dish, which will be paired with 3 different wines provided by a purveyor. The participants will be able to provide their feedback as to which wine goes the best with the prepared dish.

The Food and Wine pairings will be limited to 20 persons per session.
The sessions will be held at:
2:45 pm - 3:15 pm
3:25 pm - 3:55 pm
4:05 pm - 4:35 pm
4:45 pm - 5:15 pm
5:25 pm - 5:55 pm

The deadline for signing up for the Wine, Beer, and Fine Food is October 7, 2022. Purveyors who would like to participate in the Wine, Beer, and Fine Food Fair can request information or sign-up by contacting hbrookson@yahoo.com.
