COVID-19 statistics March 11th

As of March 11th, there were nine (9) persons who tested positive for COVID-19; however eleven (11) persons have recovered; bringing the total active cases to fifty (50) of which six (6) are locals, seventeen (17) are tourists and twenty seven (27) persons are awaiting classification. The total number of confirmed cases has increased to nine thousand six hundred fourteen (9614).

The Collective Prevention Services (CPS) are monitoring forty nine (49) people in home isolation. One (1) patient is hospitalized at the St. Maarten Medical Center. The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 remains at eighty five (85).

The number of people recovered since the first case surfaced on St. Maarten has increased to nine thousand four hundred seventy nine (9479). Zero (0) persons are in quarantine based on contact tracing investigations carried out by CPS.

As the numbers continue to fluctuate, CPS will continue to actively execute its contact tracing measures.
