SSSD informative workshop on hurricane preparedness

PHILIPSBURG -- This interactive and informative workshop entitled, "Be Prepared, Not Scared?" aims to educate and empower parents and by extension the general public on learning and teaching the vital skill of being prepared for hurricanes, the importance of creating a family plan, and addressing psychosocial wellbeing.

This workshop is being organized by SSSD for the general public, especially parents. The workshop will take place online via Microsoft Teams and the link will be made available on the Facebook page of the Student Support Services Division.

Parents and other interested persons are encouraged to attend this workshop which will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020, via Microsoft Teams from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

The Student Support Services Division (SSSD) provides services to students referred by the schools such as psychological services, counseling services, social work services, educational diagnostic services, speech-language pathology services. SSSD also provides general services such as career services, parent sessions, and crisis response.
